Eligibility Criteria for National Health Systems Resource Centre Recruitment 2020
Educational Qualification – NHSRC Recruitment 2020:
> A post-graduation veterinary degree from a recognized university in veterinary Public health or veterinary Epidemiology or
Veterinary medicine or veterinary microbiology or veterinary Livestock production Management (LPM).
> Registration In the veterinary council of India or veterinary Council of states
Experience:
> Fifteen Years’ experience in veterinary public health, veterinary epidemiology, or animal health
> Relevant experience in public health, preferably in disease surveillance and outbreak investigations
Desirable:
> Broad knowledge and understanding of disease surveillance system, epidemiology, and Public Health practice
> Excellent skill in data analysis in field epidemiology Public health setting
> Willing to travel extensively to India

Job Description:
> Establishment of Intersectoral coordination with the Department of Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Wildlife, urban Development, rural Development
> Organize and monitor timely collation, compilation, and analysis of surveillance data from the state.
> Regular visits for monitoring the implementation of the project in coordination with the IDSP in the districts
> Supervising monitoring and training state/district officials and liaison with them.
> Initiate and guide outbreak investigations promptly following the standard operating procedures.
> Support effect operational integration of disease control enforcement bases on the surveillance data.
> Coordination regular meeting of the key extra strategic stakeholders and assist in Intersectoral coordination for effective IDSP implementations.
Other Conditions: As per extant GOI/MOHFW instructions.
Period of contract: 1 year and extendable based on annual performance evaluation with an increase of 5% in remuneration.
