SSC GD Constable 2026 Recruitment: The Staff Selection Commission has issued a notification for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) posts in CAPF, SSF and Rifleman (GD) for the 2026 examination cycle. The recruitment drive offers 25,487 vacancies in multiple forces, including Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Assam Rifles and Secretariat Security Force (SSF).

The SSC GD selection procedure has several stages to ensure a fair and comprehensive evaluation of the candidates. It starts with a Computer-Based Examination (CBE), followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST). This is followed by a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and document verification of the shortlisted candidates.
